The sole purpose of The Cynglish Beat is to raise money for Cancer Research, and that's really all that matters. If you order/purchase a copy directly from Tim, then $5 from every book purchased goes directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Purchase made through book stores will have donations made too, but as they are sold to the bookstore at a considerable discount, the donation may be slightly smaller.

Whichever way you buy your book, this is no "50 cents from every purchase goes to charity" thing. We are serious. At least 1/3 of the money Cometcatcher Press receives from each purchase will be donated. In some cases it will actually be more than 1/3 because while we discount the books to the retailer we will try not to discount the donation to Cancer Research any more than we have to. We won't sell at a loss, but we'll get close if that's what it takes to put your purchase to good use.
